Mark Reding, MD

Bio

Mark Reding, MD is Director of the Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders and Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He earned his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship training at the University of Minnesota, where he has subsequently remained as a faculty member since 1999.

In addition to clinical and teaching duties, Dr. Reding has laboratory research experience investigating the mechanisms of the immune response to factor VIII and has served as principal investigator of many clinical trials in hemophilia.  In 2024 he was recognized as Physician of the Year by the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation.
