Coalition members Kate Bazinsky (Chair, BD SUMHAC), Dr. Mark Reding (Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders, University of Minnesota Medical Center), Ryan Faden (NBDF), Lynne Kinst (Hemophilia Council of CA), and Gillian Schultz (Bleeding Disorder Foundation of NC) will share an update with advocates at NBDF's Washington Days on the progress being made to increase equity and access to mental health and substance use treatment facilities!
BD SUMHAC participates in NBDF's Washington Days/ Advocacy Meetings with Members of Congress
BD SUMHAC is heading to Capitol Hill with NBDF's Washington Days program. Advocates are asking Members of Congress to require behavioral health facilities to talk with our doctors so they don't deny people with bleeding disorders access based on assumptions, bias, and stereotypes.
